The Karamoja Women Umbrella Organization (KAWUO) is proud to reaffirm its commitment to empowering women, girls, and vulnerable communities through advocacy, leadership development, education, economic empowerment, and community-based initiatives.
As a women-led organization, KAWUO continues to work closely with communities, development partners, civil society organizations, and local leaders to address challenges affecting women and girls, including poverty, inequality, limited access to opportunities, gender-based violence, and social exclusion.
KAWUO believes that empowering women is essential for building stronger families, resilient communities, and sustainable development.
